This digital interactive was created as a companion piece to the printed story in Richmond magazine's April 2014 issue. The goal was to capture Dr. Bill Kelso's archaelogical discoveries in Jamestown, Virginia, that won him international attention. This story came alive to the viewer through photos and audio recordings with Dr. Kelso captured with Richmond magazine's editor and a senior creative director.
The vision of this project was a sort of podcast with a slideshow to guide the viewer through the story. Using Richard Foster's written story, I mapped out an audio and visual presentation. Through hours and hours of editing audio and building a single audio story while matching the images that the team at Richmond magazine captured of Kelso and the archaelogy sites in Jamestown, we were able to provide a captivating tour of this now-famous story of Jamestown.
